Dr. Venkata Vadlapatla,
VP Operations &
Venkat has more than 26 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including 8 years at IDT Australia Ltd and 10 years at Frontage laboratories Inc. in the USA. He brings diverse experience in research and development, cGMP manufacturing, operations, project management and sourcing to his position at LSI. Dr. Vadlapatla received his MS in Chemistry and PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Andhra University, India, as well as a PhD in Chemistry from University of Queensland, Australia.
Charles leads our scientific team and is responsible for the delivery of chemistry and analytical development. He is a proven scientific leader with almost 20 years of experience in chemistry and research in the US and UK. Prior to joining Laurus Synthesis, Charles was with Albany Molecular Research (AMRI), where he was most recently the Director of Chemical Development. Charles has a BSc in Chemistry and a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the University of Edinburgh.

Dr. Satyanarayana Chava,

Dr. Satya has a successful track record of 26 years in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on Research & Development, manufacturing and business development. With work experience at highly respected pharmaceutical companies in various senior roles, Dr. Satyanarayana held the key assignment of Chief Operating Officer at Matrix Laboratories, Hyderabad. With several breakthroughs to his credit in API process development, he has sound knowledge in Intellectual Property related matters in the pharmaceutical industry and has authored over 75 patents.
VP Synthesis Business Unit
Chandra Chereddi leads the Synthesis Business Unit at Laurus Labs Inc., India. Prior to this current assignment at Laurus Labs, Chandra headed the Project Management division for all scientific projects at the Laurus R&D center. Before joining Laurus, Chandra worked for McKinsey & Company in their India office as a member of the healthcare practice, where he advised major generic pharmaceutical companies in matters related to marketing and sales, international growth and supply chain efficiencies. Prior to his stint at McKinsey, Chandra worked for Google Inc. as a software engineer in Google’s Mountain View, California office. Chandra holds a BE from the College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad, an MS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
In addition to his responsibilities with the Synthesis Business Unit, Chandra also heads the development of growth and risk-mitigation strategies for Laurus Labs.
